Hi guys, before I tell you some good news I would like to take the time to congratulate you on the effort you have put in this advisory. Those of you who are taking the time to read these blogs can rest assure that your grade will be a sweet A. I also would like to remind you of the importance of academic achievement. A lot of you are highly motivated and welcome the many difficult challenges that high school throws at you and battle it out through a lot of studying and dedication. That is hard work that I promise you will pay off in the future when you are in college. Times are tough for you guys but only you matter and that means keep going to class to be the best. Now the for the good news, I just got confirmation from white house officials that we will be visiting a prestigious university in about a month and a half. I expect all of you to work your butts of on this college project therefore it is important that all of you work really hard to finish it as soon as possible. Please take the time consider the following questions:
Is going to college important?

hey mr.garcia-lara wow college….im in love with USC!!!!!(is that bad…lol:)) anyways college is extremely important to me and it should be to everyone else…that would be my dream come true (going to USC)…i want to make a difference in this world!!!!!! i dont know how to explain this but college is one of my biggest fears right now….every choice i make right now has me thinking would it affect me in the future….i dont know but college is my PRESENT AND FUTURE!!!!!!!!WELL THATS MY OPINION AND MY DREAM CUM TRUE!!!:)

All you are not special:) Im the coolest one! Well college is very important to me because, i wanna grow up already and do something. I wanna have a lot of money when i grow up and have better bikes then Mr. Garcia-lara:D And im not talking a little i wanna get the triple digit geez;) But i can’t do any of that without an education. So if i mess up now my future is nothing.And i wont be able to count my money, hahha. So I gotta do good now and stay determined:)

Also because you need an education to know things so when people ask you something you know how to respond properly. also it looks good whe you are applying for a job. that is why i think that college is very iportant and i hope that someday when i graduate from highschool i will go to college.

College is important because you can get a better future and life would a lot easier.By attending college I can get a better paying job than a person who graduates from high school only. Comment by MATTHEW STROUD February 20, 2009 @ 8:06 pmyes well for me it is and for various reasons. one will be because i want to be the first one to go to college from my family. it would be a dream come true and great orgullo for my parents. its also important because college is a better rank to get a higher job position, and i would want that my future family would have a better childhood than i have. college not opens many doors but also many minds. if siters or brother, cousins, nephews ,or somepeople see that someone like me could accomplish something so big it would inspire them to start anew career or continue their education by going to college.

If, I succeed in high school I’ll want to go on to the Colombia University, Calstate University, or The University of southern california (USC), but if I don’t get accepted in any of those schools I’ll gladly attend any University that accepts me.

College is extremely important because gong to college takes alot of hard work, and so well if you do great in school, in all your classes and everything, you can achieve the goal of heading the right direction to college. If you end up in college, which i believe many, many studens that come to this school are going to achieve that goal and make there way off to a great college. Which will make you into someone important and help you in alot of ways, mostly help you through all your life. (:
