It’s a new year (2009 Baby!!) and I am glad to still be around and tell about it!! I am excited because all of you are headed in the right direction ( graduation). After reading your journals I am confident that all of you are good kids and all of you are thinking about the choices you are making. This is not good or bad, it just means that you are stopping to reflect before you rush into things. I’m glad that all of you took the time to draw and reflect on what Community Service is and what it can do for us. Please take a moment to write down 3 goals you have for the next 2 quarters we have left before we reach our summer break!! This will count for this grading period. I’m proud of all of you for being responsible and taking care of business. Remember we are in this together!!!

Things are making more sense now! I’ve been a 9th grader for a few months!!!! I’m thinking about my future and can’t wait to start………
I also have noticed others doing…………… and I think that I would like to…………..
It would not be high school if I didn’t ……………….because it is important………….

Well 3 goals that i have for myself the next 2 quaters would have to be to get good grades that for sure. And also, i would want to get into the volleyball team, but thats until May Or June. My other goal is for that club, i am really excited about it, and well i really do hope the club gets more members because last time i went it was just like 3 people there, so not cool, And so it would be really cool if the club actually gets to be an OFFICAIL CLUB! Can’t wait till that day comes. And another goal is also to raise up money for my birthday, which is during summer break. So yeah, thats pretty much my goals.

Comment by marylin macias February 4, 2009 @ 4:23 pmhi mr.garcia lara i have thought about may goals that i have wanted to achieve. just like wanting to do better in school and have better grades theres nothing that would make our parents happy on accomplishing so much. starting this new semster i would want to do great in my classes. i would also want to achieve for our club after shool to accomplish so much ad have many people have interest into it. i would also want to join the soccer team. that is something that means alot to me and i think i would have the chance to accomplish that …. !
